Who we are:

re-viv focuses on community revitalization through innovative solutions in the real estate investment space. We are actively looking to acquire value-add multi-family and co-living properties in select markets around the country. We focus on the mid-market: with projects ranging in $2-25 million dollars in total capitalization. We currently have $5 million in assets under management (AUM) and have grown our construction pipeline 5 x in the last 9 months. We are looking to aggressively scale our platform over the next 12-24 months.

What we are looking for: 

We are looking for our utility player. The Ops Manager works directly with the Principal and COO, who have combined thirty-five years of experience. The ideal candidate has experience in real estate investment, private equity, or the start-up space specializing in proptech, hospitality or commercial real estate (please don’t apply if you do not have experience in these areas). We are looking for a manager with 7 – 10 years experience but we’ll consider others who do not have such extensive experience as long as they have strong operational skills and experience growing and scaling teams.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the management team to set quarterly OKRs and KPIs to improve business performance and help drive company strategic direction.
  • Scheduling, documenting, and assisting in follow-ups for our weekly strategy call helping to improve project execution, costs, business processes and employee performance.
  • Utilize project management tools (Asana) to track the progress of projects across multiple projects. 
  • Institute and provide key metrics to hold other team members and vendors accountable. Have the ability to create simple, automated weekly and monthly reporting systems and conduct quarterly performance reviews. 
  • Help to manage third party sales and marketing vendors and assist with campaign management (webinars, social media, website, ads, blogs.)
  • Help to manage internal marketing and project management for the capital raise process for deals.
  • Manage telesales campaigns to find deals in conjunction with other vendors (when required).
  • Property management. You will work directly with our PM’s to ensure that our buildings are running smoothly and any maintenance and work orders are being taken care of.
  • HR for full time employees and subcontractors: Creating job descriptions, advertising, interviewing and onboarding.
  • Document processes and procedures and refine existing ones. 

Need to have Familiarity with the following tech stack:

  • G. Chat
  • Asana
  • Xero or Quickbooks (basic functionality)
  • CRM systems such as Zoho, Salesforce or Pipedrive
  • Familiarity with Mailchimp or equivalent email marketing a bonus

Requirements:

  • At least seven years of experience working within Operations and three years at a management level.
  • Real estate, proptech, fintech and or start up experience. 
  • While not necessary, an MBA or PMM with a focus on operations or project management is a plus.
  • Experience working in a growth-oriented business where accountability and getting the job done are critical to the success of the organization.
  • Strong Human Resources  experience. Specifically growing and scaling teams from early stage of 1-5 team members upward to 5-15. 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills .
  • Highly motivated and driven to execute on team goals and directives. 
  • Ability to drive multiple tasks with competing priorities.
  • Bring a positive, collaborative and helpful attitude to the role.

Compensation: 

We offer a competitive rate structure based upon experience with a compensation range between $90 – 115k plus benefits.

Hours:

Work hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM – 5 PM PST. Work is hybrid between working remotely as well as at our office (so you will need to be based in the Bay Area to travel to our office space a couple of times a week.)
